Style in the Park

Hi!

This time we chose to stay local, since we live in Florida, and enjoy the largest artesian springs that feed into the Silver River in Ocala Florida, Silver Springs State Park. It is the largest artesian spring in the world and Florida's oldest tourist attraction. In 1971 it was designated as a National Natural Landmark. It was our fist time there so we didn't know what to expect. Once we got there I fell in love with the place, it was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was lost in the middle of somewhere but for some reason I didn't want to leave. Our journey started here:

Glass Bottom Boat Ride

The "Glass Bottom Boats" take guests on tours of the Silver River, which has it's head waters within the park. From the glass bottom boats guests can observe many of the rivers springs and wildlife. We saw turtles, alligators, fishes are so much more natural beauty. The incredible water color is real, taken by my iphone no filter.

Wilderness Trail Ride:
The "Wilderness Trail Ride" is a JEEP ride where guests are taken through a 35-acre section of forest surrounding the park to see many of the native species of animals.

Kayaks and Canoes:
Here you can explore the beauty of Natural Florida by hitting the river and paddling along the Fort King Waterway in a kayak or a canoe. Just beautiful but kind of scary because of the gators there. lol!

Finally the most important thing is that we enjoyed our new "backyard" with family and friends and that's priceless.

XO, Yohanna

Known to be one of the most incurable types of cancer, brain cancer survival rate may not be something a patient would really want to hear. Different medical sources would tell you different results based on different aspects to consider but one thing remains true until today - brain cancer survival rate for most patients suffering from the disease is pretty low.
